Dr. Maria Montessori tarafından geliştirilen bu yaklaşım da çocukların araştırma deneme hata yapma ve hatalarını kendi kendilerine düzeltmeleri için fırsatlar yaratılmaktadır.

Destekleyici birçok materyalin kullanıldığı programın felsefesi, çocuğun ileride olacağı kişiye dair potansiyeli ve kendine özgü bir gelişime sahip olduğu fikrine dayanmaktadır.

Eğitimci çocuğun hatalarını ona göstermek yerine, çocuğun potansiyelini taşıyan davranışı ortaya çıkaracak düzenlemeler yapar.

Montessori yaklaşımına göre, eğitim öğretmen tarafından değil de bireyin kendi deneyimleriyle yürütülen bir süreçtir. Eğitimci, öğreten kişi değil yön veren-yönlendiren kişidir.

Bu yaklaşımda eğitim, çocuğun gelişim aşamalarına göre oluşturulmuştur.

Özellikle çevre düzenlemesi ve materyal seçimi konuları bu yaklaşım için çok önemlidir.

Montessori’nin eğitim programlarındaki öğrenme-öğretme sürecindeki aile katılımı oldukça önemlidir. Montessori’ye göre çocuklar kendi çevrelerinden öğrenmektedir.

This approach, developed by Dr Maria Montessori, provides opportunities for children to research, experiment, make mistakes and correct their mistakes themselves.

The philosophy of the program in which many supporting materials are used, is based on the idea that the child has potential for the future and has a unique development.

Educator instead of showing children's mistakes themselves make arrangements that will reveal the behavior that carries the potential of children.

According to the Montessori approach, education is a process carried out by the individual's own experience. Not by educator. The educator is not the person who teaches, but the person who gives direction.

In this approach, education was created according to the developmental stages of the child.

Especially landscaping and material selection issues are very important for this approach.

Family participation in the learning-teaching process of Montessori's educational programs is very important. According to Montessori, children learn from their own environment.
